How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password or want to change it, you can reset it in a few steps.
How to reset your password
- Go to the forgot password page.
- Enter the email address associated with your ReserveTheNight account.
- Click Send reset link (or equivalent button).
- Check your inbox for an email from ReserveTheNight - this usually arrives within a few minutes.
- Open the email and click the password reset link.
- Enter your new password on the page that opens.
- Your password is updated immediately. You can now sign in using your new password.
Important: reset links are single-use and expire
The link in the reset email can only be used once and expires after a short window. If you try to use the link and it says it has expired or already been used, return to the forgot password page and request a new one.
If you don't receive the email
Check your spam or junk folder. If the email still has not arrived after a few minutes, see I didn't receive a password reset email for more troubleshooting steps.
For accounts using Google Sign-In
If your account was created using Sign in with Google, there is no password to reset - your authentication is handled by Google. To access your account, use the "Sign in with Google" button on the login page. Password reset does not apply to Google-linked accounts.
