Can I cancel on behalf of another person?

ReserveTheNight bookings can only be cancelled by the person who holds the booking credentials - either the signed-in account that made the booking, or the guest who holds the secure access link for a guest booking.

If someone else made the booking on your behalf

If another person booked a hotel for you using their account, they are the booking holder and will need to cancel it from their account. They can do this from their bookings page by selecting the relevant booking and following the cancellation steps.

If they made the booking as a guest on your behalf (using your email address), you would hold the guest access link that was sent to your email, and you can cancel through that link or the guest recovery flow at /guest/bookings/recover.

If you made a booking on behalf of someone else

If you made the booking using your own account, you are the booking holder - you can cancel the booking from your account at any time, subject to the cancellation policy. The refund will be returned to the payment method you used.

Identity verification will be required before support can take any action on a booking on behalf of another person.
