How do I update my email address or profile information?
You can update your profile information - including your display name, email address, and profile photo - from the Account Settings page.
How to access Account Settings
- Sign in to your ReserveTheNight account.
- Navigate to your Account page.
- Select Settings.
- The Profile section at the top of the settings page is where you can make changes.
Updating your display name
Your display name is shown on your account. To change it, update the "Display name" field in the Profile section and click Save profile.
Changing your email address
Your email address is the identifier used to sign in to your account and receive all booking-related communications. To change it:
- In the Profile section, update the "Email address" field with your new address.
- Click Save profile.
After saving, you will need to verify the new email address before it is fully applied. Check the inbox of your new address for a verification message from ReserveTheNight.
Important: Bookings made under your old email address remain associated with that address. If you are looking for a past booking after changing your email, it will still be filed under the original address used at the time of booking.
Updating your profile photo
In the Profile section, you can choose a new profile photo (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 5 MB) or remove your existing photo entirely. Photos are cropped to a square before saving.
Changing your password
Password changes are handled separately in the Change Password (or Set Password) section on the same settings page. You will need your current password to set a new one.
Note on Google and social sign-in accounts
If your account was created through Google Sign-In, the email address displayed on your account comes from Google. Changing it in your ReserveTheNight profile settings does not change your Google account email. Use the appropriate Google account settings to manage your Google email address.
