I booked as a guest - can I link the booking to an account?
If you made a booking without creating an account but have since created one - or already have one - you can claim the guest booking so that it appears in your account's booking history.
What it means to claim a booking
Claiming a guest booking links it to your account so you can view and manage it from the account bookings page at /account/bookings. This makes it easier to access your itinerary, check cancellation options, and manage the booking in one place. Claiming does not change any booking details - the hotel, dates, room type, and all other information remain exactly as originally booked.
How to claim a guest booking
-
Access your guest booking. Use the link in your original booking confirmation email to open the guest booking page. If you no longer have the email, you can request a new access link from
/guest/bookings/recoverby entering the email address you used at checkout. -
Sign in or create an account. On the guest booking page, if you are not already signed in, you will see a prompt to sign in. Your account must use the same email address as the one you used at guest checkout - the system matches them by email address.
-
Click "Claim into my account". Once you are signed in with the matching account, a "Claim into my account" button will appear on the guest booking page. Click it to link the booking to your account.
-
View it in your account. After claiming, the booking will appear in your account bookings page and you can manage it from there.
The email addresses must match
The guest booking is tied to the email address entered at checkout. If your account uses a different email address, the claim will not succeed. If you used a different address when booking, you can either create a new account with that address or continue to access the booking via the guest link.
